When first using the machine, switch it on and operate it for 15 minutes with only the pistol mounted, i.e. without the lance. The water will thus flow around the circuits and may remove any internal manufacturing residue or impurities that might clog the lance or cause inconvenience.

Once the washing session is over, it would be good to disconnect the hose from the water supply (the garden hose, so to speak) and let the pressure washer go until the complete expulsion of all the circulating water. This will prevent the water from remaining in the circuit causing calcifications that in the long run will affect the pressure washer operation.

To prevent damage to the mechanical parts, the temperature of the inlet water must not exceed 40°C.

The recommended distance between the high-pressure jet and the surface to be cleaned is approx. 15 cm.
This can be varied according to requirements – the closer you get, the greater the impact of the jet.

A high-pressure cleaner is a tool that allows the cleaning of exterior surfaces of houses, vehicles, terraces, garden furniture, walls, gates, cobblestones and much more, by simply utilising the power of pressurised water with no need for detergents to be used. You will be surprised to see how easily and quickly dirt is removed even without the use of chemicals. This makes your high-pressure cleaner environmentally friendly and most certainly ecological

If you wish to use a detergent, choose a neutral base detergent so as not to damage the internal mechanical components of the motor pump. Avoid acid or alkaline detergents because they may create issues with the operation of your high-pressure cleaner in the long term.

Firstly, ensure that there is no residual water in the circuits. If this is not the case, use a compressor to remove any limescale residue that may have formed.
In addition, it is good practice to spray lubricant into the water inlet (where the garden hose is attached) and operate the machine for a few seconds. This will allow the lubricant to circulate and coat all internal components to deal with extended periods of inactivity.

The LVR with its Digital Control System includes a safety feature with regards to small children – the high-pressure cleaner jet is powerful and, if used improperly, may prove to be a hazard. If you have small children, are using the high-pressure cleaner and need to move away for a moment, press the SOFT and HARD buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. This will enable the CHILD SAFETY feature, which will prevent the machine from being used. One extra safety feature for you, one fewer risk for your children. To reset the high-pressure cleaner, repeat the procedure.

The pistol controls the water jet pressure using its trigger. Models with the Total Stop System can switch on or switch off the high-pressure cleaner. LAVOR pistols are equipped with a quick coupling and have an ergonomic shape to ensure greater comfort for the user.

The high-pressure hose connects the high-pressure cleaner to the pistol. This type of hose is designed to withstand the pressures generated by the water flow. LVR4 models are equipped with an 8m tube, while the LVR3 has a 6m tube.

The lance includes a quick coupling and is an extension that allows a variety of nozzles supplied to be fitted as required.

The variojet nozzle produces a jet cone with a width ranging from 0° up to a maximum of 40°. The angle dictates widths to produce needle or fan-shaped jets, as required.

The turbo nozzle combines the force of the high-pressure jet with a rotating motion. This allows work on large areas and is, therefore, ideal for removing stubborn dirt.

The eco nozzle reduces power consumption and optimises low pressure washing stages. (not available in the LVR3 model)

The foaming system is a tank with a foam lance that dispenses detergents in the form of dense, compact foam. The practical knob adjusts the quantity of detergent dispensed. In addition, the width of the jet can be chosen to be either a needle or a fan and, therefore, produce a narrower or wider jet, as required.

The L28 Patio Cleaner (LVR4 150 Digit and LVR4 Plus Digit models only) is an accessory for washing surfaces such as paved yards and balconies, driveways and pavements, which can also deal with vertical surfaces such as walls, garage doors, etc. The washing width, which is greater than a normal lance, finishes the cleaning job in half the time, saving both water and energy, as well as time and effort.

The Total Stop System is an electromechanical safety valve, which activates or shuts down the machine. By pressing or releasing the pistol trigger, the operator can switch on or switch off the high-pressure cleaner owing to the activation of the TSS. Overheating of the seals during the by-pass phase is thus prevented, extending the life of the pump itself and reducing consumption.

The Digital Control System not only allows you to monitor the functions of your high-pressure cleaner, it also includes safety locks that safeguard both machine and operator. In the event of a period of inactivity, after 15 minutes the Digital Control System intervenes to switch off the power supply, preventing issues arising regarding the internal mechanics of the high-pressure cleaner that may lead to the internal components of the motor pump to burn out.

If an extension cable is used, one must be selected that conforms with the power rating of the high-pressure cleaner motor. Not all extensions are the same and not all are suitable for connecting the high-pressure cleaner to the mains power supply.
